1 Testing within the Dual Enrollment Program

2 Did you know? Who needs to test?Who needs a Rio Student ID number Students needing to met a course prerequisiteStudents that have never attended or tested at a Maricopa Community College. How many times can I test? Why do I have a MEID and Student ID? Students are allowed one re-test per subject within one year of their initial test. Students must wait a minimum of 24 hours to retest. MEID is a username, used to access your Student Center in my.maricopa.edu When a student achieves a qualifying score, a re- test is unnecessary. Student ID is used when registering and testing for classes If a student has more than 2 test scores within a one year period, we will honor only the first two scores. If a student is unable to obtain a Rio Salado ID number for any reason, please have them contact Student Enrollment Services directly 480-517- 8150 or 480-517-8540. Assessment scores, with the exception of the reading exemption, will be valid for two years from the date of the original test or re-test. The reading exemption does not expire. Score report should be referred to before testing a student and when entering test scores on the students registration form. If a student uses any other name or number (i.e. MEID, SSN, Richard and Rick) their scores will not be entered into their records and it makes tracking a student’s test scores almost impossible to locate. This may also delay the registration process.
