22 DISCUSSION - 13 Rules that Expire 1. Add a zero when you multiply by ten. 2. Use keywords to solve problems. 3. You cannot take a bigger number from a smaller number 4. Adding and multiplying make numbers bigger. 5. Subtracting and dividing make numbers smaller. 6. You always divide the larger number by the smaller one. 7. Two negatives make a positive.

24 Computational Fluency Return to testing for fluency in the classroom. Assign students to study math facts 3x/week. Method for assessment is at the discretion of the teacher. Suggestion is at least four times/trimester. 10% of final math grade
