16. Baruch’s Consolation – Jer. 45 Instead of taking that cushy, quiet, princely job in Jerusalem, Baruch has taken the more dangerous job as scribe for the unpopular prophet Jeremiah. The very suffering through which Baruch passes because of his loyalty to God gained him honor beyond anything he could have anticipated Baruch’s Seal
