Sentence = She sings in a melodious voice.

3 2. Nefarious – adj. Corrupt or vicious Synonym = villainous
Sentence = The nefarious man frightened everyone.

4 3. Heinous – adj. Terrible and shocking Synonym = monstrous
Sentence = The crime was so heinous even the police were shocked.

5 4. Sublime – adj. Amazingly wonderful Synonym = splendid
Sentence = The weather on the island was sublime.

6 5. Steadfast – adj. Firm and steady or not changing Synonym = loyal
Sentence = We are steadfast supporters of our team.

7 6. Aloof – adj. Distant and not friendly Antonym = extroverted
Synonym = conceited Sentence = Sally is so aloof that no one gets a chance to know her.

8 7. Volatile – adj. Rapid mood changes Synonym = excitable or moody
Sentence = Theo’s volatile temper made his friends uneasy.
