5 Outward journey: Thursday 5 th July 2012 Meet in bus park at side of school Arrive promptly for 4.15 am (coach arriving 4.30 am) Flight will not wait! Return journey: Sunday 15 th July 2012 Flight arrives at Stansted around 7.30 pm Meet in bus park at side of school for approx 9.30 pm (we will advise your son/daughter to text when we are around half an hour from school).

6 Itinerary (may be subject to change) Thu 5 JulyArrive Dresden – stay at youth hostel. Fri 6 JulyTour of Dresden, then travel to school in Adelsheim. Students meet exchange partners. Mon 9 JulyTour of Adelsheim, then L5 & L6 in school. Tues 10 JulyTrip to Heidelberg. Wed 11 JulyLessons in school, finishing at lunchtime. Thu 12 JulyTrip to Dachau (one of the first concentration camps, located near Munich). Fri 13 JulyLessons in school, finishing at lunchtime. Sat 14 JulyWith host family. Sun 15 JulyDepart for Stuttgart Airport 3pm – return home.

8 Safety procedures Students should comply with all safety regulations demanded by coach and air travel companies. Students should remain in small groups at all times when out on day trips. Emergency contact number for use by students/parents: 07887 577920 (Note for parents: for emergencies in the first instance please call school during school hours on 01449 613541).

9 What items would you suggest bringing? Passport and EHIC card (absolutely essential!) Practical clothing/footwear (for tours), sports/swimwear Towel for use at youth hostel, Dresden Spending money Small gift for host family Please note: If students intend to bring items of personal value (phones, mp3 players, cameras, etc) they must be responsible for these items at all times. Check that phones can be used abroad.
