2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Mayon Environs Tourism Circuit is created to provide tourists an organized and satisfying tour of Albay. Moreover, its creation is intended to address the question – After Mayon Volcano what does Albay still have to offver? These circuits prove that there is more in Albay beyond Mayon. This project has three sub-tourisms that will provide choices to tourists and potential visitors in accordance to their interests. The destinations offer the following: (1) Eco-Tourism activities such as mountain hiking/ trekking and cave spelunking; (2) Historical and cultural interests; (3) Trade and industry, and (3) Adventure activitiesThe LGUs inlcuded in the circuits may be considered to be both destination and supplier communities for the livelihood in some of the participating municipalities are souvenirs that tourists could take home. In addition, the project can accommodate meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibition (MICE) events due to the presence of hotels and convention facilities.
