6. Space probes have to survive the harsh conditions of space The components on board can be very sensitive to the environment around them – electronic components are the most sensitive. Engineers have to design special protection for the space probe from harsh conditions. Watch the videos on space probes and make a list of all the different things that engineers have to design a space probe to survive.
