YOU MAY LISTEN TO YOUR OWN MUSIC IF YOU HAVE HEADPHONES. ONLY DURING COMPOSITION OR REVISION TIME. MUSIC CANNOT BE SO LOUD THAT OTHERS CAN HEAR DEVICE ON THE DESK, FACEUP NO SHARING HEADPHONES ONLY IN MY CLASSROOM. MRS. SAUNDERS MAY DISALLOW SPECIFIC MUSIC IF IT ENCOURAGES VIOLENCE. Practicing for Tomorrow’s Performance You need to perfect: the tone or attitude you will instill in your character. you need to determine which lines or words should be emphasized. your timing, the rhythm with which you read your choral readings (when you are both speaking at the same time). the choreograph any movement or gestures. You will be presenting tomorrow during the first half of block. Remember that this is a dramatic reading. Your part in the poem is a character in a poetic performance.
