6 Why should we eat healthy? Keeps you from getting sick Improves athletic performance Makes you smart Reduce health risks (cancers, diseases) Obtain vitamins and minerals I f we learn about eating healthy now, in the future children will be more educated about nutrition.

7 The Project Determine healthy ingredients to incorporate into a healthy granola bar. Research effects on what can happen to your body if you continue to eat unhealthy Make a commercial to advertise our granola bar Sell our granola bar and promote healthy eating at the school health fair.

11 Advertising/Commercial Students will use computer software to make flyers for their granola bar. Students will come up with reasons why our granola bar is healthy. Students will then tell their peers what will happen to their body if they continue to eat unhealthy.

12 Health Fair The students will promote their granola bar to all the students and parents at the heath fair. They will convince others buy buy the granola bar. They will use their knowledge to describe what will happen if people continue to eat unhealthy. All the sales will go towards buying healthy snacks for the classroom.
