2. Problem to resolving: Environmental problems in Colombia The environmental Problems in Colombia, generate a great impact on the biological diversity in the country. On having been Colombia the second country more gentle diversely of the world, with 10 world % of the flora and fauna, and 20 % of birds of the world.

3. Recent history as Bogota, Barranquilla, Cali, Medellin and intermediate cities as Sogamoso, overcomes the levels accepted of pollution. The water pollution in the country is caused principally by the domestic residues, the agricultural activities, the industrial residues, the mining activities, the inadequate managing of landfills of garbage and of lixiviados. To this there adds the inadequate managing of the hospitable residues.

4. Factors In Colombia the factors that cause environmental deterioration are changed, but there can be grouped in two big ones grupos:1 Free access to the natural resources: There exist diverse activities that there does not possess a vigilance or accompaniment of the Colombian condition and have provoked serious environmental problems, since they are: the illegal mining industry, the illegal felling of forests and the activities related with narcotráfico.1 Lack of state investment: In Colombia the state investment and the accompaniment in some environmental topics, is almost void. The lack of investment on the part of the condition in the treatment of domestic waste water is small. The managing of garbages and the utilization of the same one is reduced along the country. There is few investigation in the pollution and the resources renovables.

5. Environment The deforestation in Colombia in the period 2000-2007 was of about 336 000 hectares of forest to año.4 The destruction of the bosque of high biodiversity since found in the zone of the Pacífico it has been a reason of the illegal activity of the production of coca. It thinks that from 2002 until 2007 the south zone of the Colombian Pacífico lost an area of 14.322 km2 of tropical forest, an area bigger than that of Jamaica that measures 11.190 km2.5 The zone of the Colombian Pacífico does part of It Hit biogeográfico, one of the most megadiverse and rainy zones of the planet. 6. On the other hand, the mining industry illegal that concerns 16 departments in Colombia, has caused considerable hurts ambientales.7 The illegal mining industry in Colombia exercises pressure on the biological diversity and is one of the principal threats on the ecosystems in país.8 As for the protection of the seas, Colombia protects 2 % from them, when the agreements of biological diversity demand 10 %.
