8 The “Me Decade” Time Capsule Activity A time capsule (circa 37’) is a historic cache of goods and/or information, usually intended as a method of communication with people in the future.

9 The “Me Decade” Time Capsule Activity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV8HsSlm3vA Skim read Chapter 55. Pick 12-15 events you feel are most important or representative of the 1970s decade. Categorize them as political, economic and social. Your labelled list = checklist #2: 70’s events list In a group of 3~4, compare lists and come up with a master list of TOP 10 events. Decide together what physical artifact you might put in a time capsule to represent each thing on your list. Put the top 10 events with explanations and an artifact (=image/video) in PowerPoint (use the laptop).
