10 Concise and current - useful for research Tweet and re-tweet relevant information Follow individuals related to the industry you want to go into e.g. Kelly Smith, Steven Gerrard Follow industry specific organisations e.g. Sport England, England Hockey Keep up with current sports news e.g. BBC, The Guardian

11 Good stuff: Work experience and volunteering Membership of relevant groups, teams, societies or networks Employability skills & Lincoln Award Network through existing contacts Professional profile picture Recommendations more powerful than endorsements

12 Bad stuff: Spelling or punctuation errors - especially apostrophes! Negative comments about colleagues, academics or employers Comments which indicate prejudice e.g. racist, sexist, homophobic Contacting people you don’t know Unprofessional profile picture
