Endangered animals are all those species that are threatened with extinction

Scientific Name: Ursus maritimus Distribution: Arctic Ocean, Alaska, Canada, Russia, Denmark and Norway Prey: seals, sea birds and fish

4 Fun Facts I Fur: Not white! It is transparent
Body temperature: Fur and skin absorb sunlight for warmth. Fat insulates them in cold water.

5 Fun Facts II Limbs: Paw pads with rough surfaces help prevent polar bears from slipping up on the ice. The furthest they can swim: Polar bears can swim 100 miles (161 kilometers) at a stretch.

6 Fun Facts III Height: Males can grow to the height of a one-storey building. So, Polar bears are the largest predators on land and they are the largest of all bears.

7 Conclusion Although they look very strong and people may think that they are very fierce, they are not in fact. After you have learnt about their fun facts, they are actually very cute! So we should protect them.
