7.  In your groups for Word Wednesday, you will be assigned one of the four topics from your Quote Cubes.  Your group must collect the following:  Five Questions (open-ended questions about your topic to promote discussion)  Five Quotes (about your topic with line numbers)  Write a thematic statement about your topic.  What does the play say about ?  Remember your thematic statement should be universal.  It should not be written in 2 nd person.  EACH group member is responsible for recording this information (i.e. EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE NOTES!) 8.  Now your groups will mix with representatives from each topic.  In your new groups, report out on the important information from your home group.  Be sure to share your thematic statement and how your group came up with that theme.  Also, ask your group at least 2 of your questions and discuss them in your groups. 9.  For our Socratic Seminar today, you will discuss the text, the anticipation guide, and the topics from your Jigsaw groups.   You must maintain a respectful balance between talking and listening.   You must use direct quotes from the text to support your analysis and claims.   Remember that you always want to further the discussion with your comment.
