1 January 7, 2013  Welcome back!! Sit where you want. You’ll have a seating chart tomorrow!  Come in and get a piece of paper out.  We are reviewing policies and Unit 5 Vocab for your TEST on Wednesday!  Schedule for the week is on the board!

3 MATERIALS  You will need a binder (one inch, 3 rings) for this class. BRING EVERY DAY!!  You will need a spiral that will be left in your class period bin.  You will need a pen or pencil every single day.  Keep all handouts, current assignments, notes, and returned assignments in this binder.  You will need loose leaf paper.

4 TURNING IN WORK  Your grade will reflect the quality of work you turn in.  Use blue or black ink. Write neatly.  Heading must be in top left corner:  Name  Class Period  Date  All major graded writings will be turned in on turnitin.com

5 Make Up Work  The Schedule is on the board and on the website.  Check the board for the absent policy.  Here it is for a reminder:  Check to the white board/website for what you missed  Get the date and check that number folder in the folder holder  If it’s a test/quiz/ or assignment that’s not in there, YOU schedule a time when to make it up  IMPORTANT: don’t just not do your work because you weren’t here. It will kill your grade.

6 More info  You still get 3 hall passes  You may retest for 69 or below…  If you need help, ASK! Or stay for tutoring. You must schedule this with me.  This Wed, 1/9/12, is “end of semester grade bootcamp” and Tuesdays project make ups. There are 30 of you failing for the SEMESTER, as of right now you’ll be taking this class over.  Unit 5 Vocab test on Wed. Make ups are Wed-Fri AM.  Finals next week!
