3 3 Asset Management Training A total of forty five (45) technical and finance officials have been trained in Asset Management. Of those trained, ten (10) were women and thirty five (35) men. Two days training session for DDGs has been scheduled.

4 4 HR Achievements: Jan 07 – Mar 07 Focus AreaTask AreaOutputs Organizational Development Unlock causes for JE Backlogs Audit of process completed - findings being used to inform process redesign, policy and procedures Identification of critical staffing requirements from line management The following posts have been created: Regions =15 Forestry =4 The identification of staffing needs for the Finance Branch is in progress.

5 5 HR Achievements: Jan 07 – Mar 07 Focus AreaTask AreaOutputs Employee Relations Environmental scan of the effectiveness of ER support ER audit completed – findings being used to inform process redesign, policy and procedures Talent Management Bursaries Administration Bursary audit finalised and findings being implemented Capacity building 73 officials trained in the following areas: PFMA Project Management Negotiation and conflict management Induction for new appointees Legal compliance 35 SMS members underwent Coaching
