6. SouthwestSouthwest One of the most famous landmarks in this region is the Grand Canyon Mostly made up of high plateaus, plains, and deserts Landforms include mountains, plateaus, and deserts Rocky Mountains appear in this region as well as the West

7. WestWest The Great Basin is in this region The redwood trees that grow in Oregon and California are the tallest trees in the world This region shares the Great Plains with the Middle-West
