2 CLIC Training Course Materials CLIC Collaborative Learning Initiative for Cities Scope: A one-week intensive Training Course based on the UN Habitat 3 months Training Programme piloted in the Americas, the Making Cities Resilient (MCR) Campaign tools and materials (ex. Mayors Handbook and LG-SAT) Content: Focus of the course is on the specific elements of the MCR, particularly on the implementation milestones and strategic planning outlined in the Mayor’s Handbook.

3 CLIC Collaborative Learning Initiative for Cities The course design considers the following criteria : Background diversity of the participants Differences in technical skill, capacities and knowledge surrounding risk reduction Encourages exchange of experiences among participants Replicability Builds on existing materials/training experiences (UN-HABITAT, MADRID) CLIC Training Course Materials
