2.  By compiling data, we would be showing the number of people injured each year by lack of care for large cats, the number of large cats saved at the Turpentine creek refuge, and what can be done in the community to show people what problems occur when owning a large cat with out the proper tools.

3.  The Turpentine Creek project is simple really there are three parts: 1.To inform people about how many people privately own exotic animals in America. 2.To inform people about many of these animals is brought to Turpentine Creek. 3.More importantly how we accomplished this using mathematical processes.

4. 1.Notify more people about how bring a rare animal in to a city or even a country living area it can be harmful to the person and also the large cat. 2. By volunteering or even donating to refuge many large cats will be able to live a healthy, and half way normal life.

9. 1. We where given some excel spread sheets and we used them to create a linear regression equation. 2. We created this equation by putting the dates of the previous years and the number of animals in the refuge into the stat plot portion of the calculator. 3. After doing this you can go to the stat calculate, then go to option number four Linreg(ax+b).

10. 5. The calculator automatically makes a line ours is y=7.3212x+(-14629.92727)

11.  The whole group went to Turpentine Creek and gathered data.  Joaquin Campuzano was the presenter of the group  William Rogers was the powerpoint design creator computer genious.  Jessica Ross was the team captain and organizer of the group.  Diana Pedraza data collector of the group.

12. Feb. 16 th – went to Turpentine creek March 9 th – gathered more info. from Emily March 16 th – Revise PowerPoint and input info. March 30 th – have flyer created and PowerPoint updated April 15 th - Created our flyer! April 24 th –Created webpage and touched base with Dianne Phillips. April 29 th - Updated our PowerPoint in preparation for the presentation.

13.  We used PowerPoint, and Excel in order to make our PowerPoint.  We used something formatter to make our webpage.

16. 1. For more people in the community to be more cautious to what form of exotic animal they are willing to buy with no back ground other than the animal is “cute”. 2.To know how to put together all the data gathered at turpentine creek.

17.  We as a group would like thank all of the Turpentine creek animal refuge staff and more specifically Emily for taking time to give us the information we needed for this project.  We would also like to thank Ms. Whitmore for teaching us how to use a calculator and do the math necessary to make this project happen.
