2. Diary of Polish – Cypriot exchange 2013/2014 part 2 – Poland

3. „Dear diary...” „Dear diary...” That’s the way typical diary entries start... but this presentation is only a small part of what happened during the exchange in Cyprus. It's just a description of the events, and the real memories are imbued with many emotions to describe everything... There are no words to define some of the events...

4. DAY 1. 25th of April 2014

5. Yes, yes, yes! Finally they are in Poland ! I am so excited that I am going to spend 10 perfect days with them that I already know it will be the best time of my life!!!!

6. DAY 2. 26th of April 2014

7. Today our partners were visiting Częstochowa… I think it was great, but a bit boring ;) They saw the Jasna Góra Monastery and the city as well. They saw the castle in Olsztyn, too. I think they liked it.

8. DAY 3. 27th of April 2014

9. Today cypriot students spent time with their partners and families. My partner and I went to the Water Park with my family, and we showed him Ojcowski National Park as well. We showed him the castle in Ojców and the famous caves that are nearby. But I think that my partner liked water park the most;)

10. DAY 4. 28th of April 2014

11. Today we had school activities. We recorded the mystery song, made a lot of spooky drawings and presented the played called „The Performance”. It was spooooooky !

12. DAY 5. 29th of April 2014

13. Today our partners visited mines in Tarnowskie Góry, but I had to stay at school so I don’t know how the trip went, but my partner said that it was okay.

14. DAY 6. 30th of April 2014

15. That day we were at school and had activities. We watched the show connected with the ceremony of commemorating the 1st of May – Labour Day. After the dinner our partners went to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp. I think they were scared a bit… My partner told me that it was terrible experience for whole Cypriot group.

16. DAY 7. 1st of May 2014

17. That day we had the traditional silesian meal – „prażonki”. We were in Adrenalina Park, we visited the castle in Ogrodzieniec. We were in the Salt Mine in Wieliczka. It was great! We really liked it!

18. DAY 8. 2nd of May 2014

19. Today we were in Cracow. We saw the Wawel Castle, Sukiennice and the St. Mary’s Church. We were in the shopping mall and we did some shopping! It was very nice.

20. DAY 9. 3rd of May 2014

21. We were in Zakopane. We saw the ski jump slope! We saw the Gubałówka Mountain, too. We were walking on the Krupówki street, but it was raining and we spent 2 hours in McDonald’s restaurant. We were soooooooo tired, but it was okay.

22. DAY 10. 4th of May 2014

23. Today we spent time with our partners. We played basketball, ate ice creams and were chilling We had the Eurodinner in the Polish restaurant called „Sportowa”. It was very nice. We took a lot of selfies

24. DAY 11. 5th of May 2014

25. It’s time to say goodbye, but we hope that we will meet soon again. We are crying, we are screaming – we just can’t believe that this is the end. It’s too difficult to write something. The feelings we have cannot be described by words. We will miss Cypriot students and we will never forget them…
