Cyberbullying What to do: ● tell someone ● if it is a text save it ● print the evidence ● surround yourself with friends ● talk it out with them What not to do : ● text mean things about them ● talk about their looks ● do not do what they do to you
Online Safety What to do: ● Use a screen name that is not your real name ● Stay away from personal questions ● Never meet someone who met online ● Always talk to your parents about being online What not to do: ● Do not give away the sport team you play or your number ● Do not give away your gender ● Do not give anyone your picture ● Do not speak to anyone you do not know
Information Privacy ● Do not open spam or attachments from people you don’t know ● Don’t download anything without asking a parent ● Install anti spam software on your computer ● Read a websites privacy agreement ● Don’t share personal information
