2. Childhood and Family  She was very fearful and shy.  She has four kids and 11 pets.  She is married.

3. Schooling  She went to New York University in 1961.  She went to Boston University.  She went to a public school.

4. Writing Start  She started her writing career at age 27.  People would ask her for tips about writing books which she made sound easy.  She found a woman that could help her make more books.
