2 Human Environment Interactions Humans adapt, modify, depend and affect their environment in the area they live in. In Siberia, all is the same. Siberians adapt to their environment because Siberia has a lot of landforms. They prefer to live in houses on certain types of land. Siberians modify their environment by changing the natural features by building new houses and roads. They depend on their environment for food, shelter and clothes. Lastly, Siberians affect their environment by negatively polluting the seas and positively by planting crops. Siberians interact with their environment, as we do, too.

3 Description of place. What do you think when you think of Siberia? Cold weather and husky puppies, but those are only part of it. Some physical characteristics of Siberia are a lot of landforms such as mountains, rivers, soil and beaches. The climate is normally very cold, icy and snowy. In the winter, the temperature is far below freezing and even in the summer it is still cold and wet with many marshy puddles. Places have human characteristics, too. Some examples from Siberia are, the people in Siberia, build buildings, roads, and make or produce clothing, and food habits on the land. Even though Siberia is larger than France it’s population is a lot smaller. The population is only 3,000,000. So now when you think of Siberia you will think of much more than cold climates and husky puppies.

4 Location Siberia’s absolute location is 105 E 60 N. Its relative location is Northeastern Asia. The country of Siberia lies in Russia. It is in the continent of Asia. It is located in the Northern Hemisphere. Some of their neighboring countries and city are China, and Novosibirsk.

5 Regions Siberia is a state in the country Russia. Siberian religion is Christian and their customs are they play with Russian dolls and they eat mostly meat. Their language is Russian and they climate is cold for the whole year. They have a lot of mountains, rivers and ponds. Their population is close to 3,000,000.

6 Movement Some imports of Siberia are sleds for huskies to race on. Some exports of Siberia are grains, corn and tomatoes. The transportation in Siberia is trains and dogs and cars. The communication of Siberia is cell phones. Siberian people wear jeans, a fur coat, a sweater and a hat.
