Respondents Active PhD:s Number of respondents: 403 Response rate: 57 % Women: 58 % or respondents Foreign degree: 34 % of respondents Respondents per faculty: LTJ: 54 respondents (response rate: 65 %) NL: 165 respondents (response rate: 52 %) S: 100 respondents (response rate: 58 %) VH: 81 respondents (response rate: 45 %)

Other results Introduction etc. 2 of 3 were formally introduced. 48 % has had a ”medarbetarsamtal” 83 % knows how to contact Doktorandombudsmannen – decreasing number! Reports on harassments : 24 individuals has reported harassments. 14 individuals (11 women) report harassment with regard to gender Health problems : 61 % feel stress every week 50 % have difficulties concentrating 46 % have pain in neck/shoulders

To sum up PhD:s in general are satisfied. PhD:s are more satisfied 2011 than 2006 (same as 2009) Men are more satisfied that women. Foreign PhD:s are more satisfied than Swedish PhD:s. No major differences between faculties. They are satisfied with supervision, less satisfied with number of courses (own subjet) There are reports on harassments. Many PhD:s feel stress.
