3 ROTA’s Mission launched in December 2005 in Doha, Qatar, by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani ROTA’s commitment is to Improve: primary and secondary education Relationships among communities Safe learning environments Restoring education in crises affected areas ROTA envisions a world, all young people have access to education

4 What ROTA does There are four programs department with ROTA. These include: International Programs Connect ROTAsia / Online Education Program National Programs

6 ROTA Youth Service Clubs Network of Youth Clubs connecting Clubs, Activities and Like minded people 14 Registered Clubs 1350+ Students Youth age between 14 and 24 Focus on Service Learning rather than Community Service

Help setting up the club (Structure and Framework) Provide leadership training Connecting youth and their activities with a network Giving Financial grants Providing the support, tools and platform needed Opportunities to join RYAB, Empower planning committee and Leadership planning committee

13 Leadership Training First Step to RYSC Program 3 Local Leadership Trainings per year 4 days Training on Global Citizenship, Leadership, Advocacy and Service Learning Interactive, practical, team building, and designed to develop knowledge and skills for potential and existing RYSCs and RYAB members. Integrated Sports, Environment, Skills Development and Arabic

15 ROTA Youth Advisory Board ROTA’s Youth Advisory Board are a group of 8 young people RYAB advice ROTA on all youth related issues/decisions/events and strategies RYAB are considered the Youth Ambassadors of the ROTA Youth Program Locally and Internationally
