8 Performing Missions For America 8 Who has access to ORMS? u Wing, Group and Squadron Commander u Wing and Squadron Logistics, Supply, Transportation and Communications Officers u Operations and Emergency Services Directors and Officers u Wing, Group and Squadron Commander u Wing and Squadron Logistics, Supply, Transportation and Communications Officers u Operations and Emergency Services Directors and Officers u Read-only access to ORMS for those members not holding a property management position is available through the CAP Utilities section of eServices. All CAP members can access ORMS to accept issued property.

14 Performing Missions For America 14 Accountability Procedures Goodbye S-3……….Now on-line!! u Used to ensure CAP property is properly accounted for, accessible and available. u Accomplished between Jan 1 and Mar 15 u Verify item, serial number and red CAP Property Tag with u Squadron CC or LG can conduct inventory and enter results in ORMS u Missing or damaged property initiates a Report of Survey

21 Performing Missions For America 21 Real Property Survey u Acquisition of real property whether by purchase, donation, lease, license or other no-cost agreement must be approved by the wing and region commander u Must fill out RPS on every storage structure permanently positioned (e.g. Buildings, shelters, mobile homes, stationary trailers, hangers & containers) u RPS is completed even if your squadron only uses a room in a FBO, church or school to meet. u Must be reviewed by State Director and Wing Legal Officer u The current RPS along with any lease, rental agreement, etc. must be provided to the Wing LG and uploaded into ORMS. u All squadrons will complete the RPS. CAP-NHQ LG has to approve, Wing State Director has to approve and finally SWR CAP-USAF LG must approve. Wing screener must drive to DRMO, complete paperwork and pickup. u Ft. 28 Performing Missions For America 28 CAP-USAF SWR Survey Audit u u Wing and 2 squadrons are inspected each year. u u Will physically review all assigned items listed in ORMS. u u If squadron has vehicle or aircraft, they and its paperwork will be reviewed. u u Will also inspect/review Communications equipment u u Squadron member representing Supply, Transportation and Communications must be present. u u Once inspected, squadrons usually won’t be selected again for 10 years! u u Wing and 2 squadrons are inspected each year. u u Will physically review all assigned items listed in ORMS. u u If squadron has vehicle or aircraft, they and its paperwork will be reviewed. u u Will also inspect/review Communications equipment u u Squadron member representing Supply, Transportation and Communications must be present. u u Once inspected, squadrons usually won’t be selected again for 10 years!
