In 2000-2004, the IMI took part in 3 exhibitions. One of them was World Exhibition EXPO 2000. 6 scientific seminars are held regularly at the Institute, in which experts of corresponding fields from other institutions of science and studies participate as well. The scientists of Institute are members of editorial boards of many international journals; referees, experts, as well as estimators of work of international contests; they also participate in the activities of world and European scientific organisations.
