6. Full-Featured Applications Perform many different tasks Examples: Microsoft Word Web Browser (Internet Explorer) Power Point Games Media Players

7. Gadgets/Widgets Perform only 1 or 2 jobs Clock/Calendar Taskbar Calculator Start Menu

8. Commands A command tells an application to perform a task. Siri is an example of an application. “Siri find me a good restaurant.” This is an example of a command. Microsoft Office products have several commands.
