Welcome to the 16 th GridPP Collaboration Meeting Introduction GridPP3 Project Leader GridPP3 Proposal Tier-2 Funding Timeline Steve Lloyd, Chair of the GridPP Collaboration Board
Slide 2 Steve Lloyd GridPP16 Introduction GridPP3 Project Leader Having done the job for 6 years Tony Doyle understandably did not wish to continue for a further 3 years (or more). A Search Committee was set up by the CB to find a successor (Peter Dornan, Pete Watkins, John Womersley and SLL). There was one obvious candidate and a couple of possibilities. As recently announced Dave Britton will be the GridPP3 Project Leader (subject to PPARC approval and suitable financial arrangements between PPARC, Dave and Imperial). Congratulations (or commiserations) Dave!
