4 Journals At a journal’s web site you can often: –View the table of contents of each issue –Search previous issues by topic –Set up Alerts table of contents or topic search results emailed to you at a specified interval (e.g. weekly, as available)

5 Where can you find journals?  In the Library’s e-journal collection –Contains over 13,000 full-text electronic journals –Search by journal title/keyword or subject OR browse an alphabetical list –Free access from the Library’s website –Login or free registration may be required for some journals

35 CSA  Consists of approximately 30 different databases covering a wide variety of topics –Art Abstracts –Biological Sciences –Communication Abstracts –EconLit –Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management –Materials Research Database with METADEX –MLA International Bibliography –PsycINFO  Date coverage varies with the database  Uses the same interface as Scholars Portal (i.e., set up alerts in exactly the same way!)
