1. A valid explanation for life would not exist. Luke 3:38 – “Adam, the son of God.” Life doesn’t come from things that are not living.

2. A true purpose for life would not exist. Eccl. 12:13-14 – “Fear God and keep His commandments…this is man’s all.” Acts 17:26-28 – Seeking God is our purpose on earth.

3. An absolute moral guide would not exist. 1 Pet. 4:1-5 – Human beings are made to live for God’s will. Rom. 1:28-31 – What does a world without God look like?

4. Incentive for doing good would not exist. Eph. 2:8-10 – We are God’s workmanship, created for good works. Rom. 2:5-11 – There are both positive and negative incentives.

5. Hope of something better would not exist. Titus 1:1-2 – Hope of eternal life kept Paul going. Rom. 8:18 – It is not worthy to be compared with this life.
