4. (Statistic) Introductory The Pacific Coast Trail spans 2,650 from Mexico to Canada. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people hike a portion of the trail. About one thousand attempt to hike all the way through; only half finish. Not only did Cheryl Stray do it, but she did it alone. In her autobiographical adventure Wild, she travels along the Pacific Coast Trail in search of many things. Cheryl, who is suffering from many losses besides the loss of her mother, hopes to find inner peace, who she is and what is best for her next while on a dangerous journey.
