Tier 2 is conducted out of the general education classroom / conducted by a reading teacher with extensive training in phonemic awareness, formative assessment, and the technology used to manage the assessments. More intense intervention lasting anywhere from 6 - 12 weeks. Phonemic awareness instruction.
