What is ‘a god?’  a supernatural being, who is worshipped as the controller of some part of the universe or some aspect of life in the world  an image, idol, or symbolic representation of such a deity  any person or thing to which excessive attention is given: money was his god  a man who has qualities regarded as making him superior to other men

5. Who is “God?”  The existence of God is taken for granted in the Bible. There is nowhere any argument to prove it. He who disbelieves this truth is spoken of as one devoid of understanding  Psalms 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.

6. Who is “God?”  The arguments by theologians in proof of the being of God are:  The testimony afforded by reason.  We proceed logically from the facts of experience to causes. The cosmological, by which it is proved that there must be a First Cause of all things, for every effect must have a cause. The teleological, or the argument from design. We see everywhere the operations of an intelligent Cause in nature.

7. Who is “God?”  The arguments by theologians in proof of the being of God are:  The testimony afforded by reason.  We proceed logically from the facts of experience to causes. The moral argument based on the moral consciousness and the history of mankind, which exhibits a moral order and purpose which can only be explained on the supposition of the existence of God. Conscience and human history testify that "verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth."

8. Who is “God?”  Exodus 34:5-7 Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
