3. Task #1 Review of butterfly knowledge. Assign students into pairs. Partners will look at other butterfly web quests and review their findings about the following: Where do butterflies come from? Look at a Swallowtail butterfly. Watch a video of a caterpillar hatch from its egg!

4. Task #2 Color poster of the four stages of a butterfly. Create different art projects of butterflies: –Color a picture of a monarch butterfly. –Create “Eggs on a Leaf” art project. –Create “Egg Carton Caterpillars” –Create “The Adult Butterfly”

5. Task #3 Discuss and write a paragraph (4 sentences) of what you and your partner have learned. Try to answer some of the following questions: Do butterflies grow up differently from people? How do these insects change as they grow? How many stages do they have? What do the stages look like?
