2. DON’T GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION It is very important not to give anyone your personal information. Personal information includes your name, address, phone number, school, what you look like, family members, friends, etc. Any information which can identify you should not be shared with anyone on line. If someone should ask for this information, please contact an adult you trust such as your parents or guardians immediately so they can help you. SAFTEY RULES

3. DON’T AGREE TO MEET WITH ANYONE WHEN YOU ARE NOT WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN Never agree to meet with anyone without being with a parent or guardian. It is not safe, they may seem nice, but they shouldn’t be asking you to meet them. If this happens, tell an adult such as your parent or guardian immediately. 5. IF ANYONE MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE TELL A PARENT OR GUARDIAN Don’t let anyone cyberbully you. Don’t let anyone make you feel uncomfortable or hurt you with their words or actions. SAFTEY RULES

6. DON’T GET TIRED AND STOP USING SAFETY GUIDELINES Don’t think DANGER WILL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU!!! Therefore, don’t relax and forget to use safety precautions which will help keep you safe. You don’t know when the CYBER MONSTER WILL APPEAR! It may target you, so stay focused and follow the safety guidelines. Can you guess what might happen to Sam since he is not focused on safety? 10. ACCORDING TO I-SAFE.ORG GRADES 4-8, 1,500 STUDENTS  ■ 42% of kids have been bullied while online. 1 in 4 have had it happen more than once.  ■ 35% of kids have been threatened online. Nearly 1 in 5 have had it happen more than once.  ■ 21% of kids have received mean or threatening e- mail or other messages.  ■ 58% of kids admit someone has said mean or hurtful things to them online. More than 4 out of 10 say it has happened more than once.  ■ 53% of kids admit having said something mean or hurtful to another person online.
