 For every computer user should know that the human brain is a very important to study by many.  In the same sense the CPU should be closely examined too. For the CPU is the main part of the computer that does the computer intense calculation and processing of information.

Which of the following is not part of the CPU’s job of the computer?  performing mathematical calculations  Moving data from one memory location to another  Starting the computer up for the first time or booting

 Objective: Students will explain how the CPU makes our PC work, and they will discuss why it can be considered one of the most valuable parts inside the computer.  Purpose: To allow us to conduct a deeper study to comprehend how the CPU (the brain of the computer) makes the computer function.

 Work with a partner to complete a worksheet in order to explain deeper knowledge on about the computer’s central processing unit (also referred as the computer’s brain) makes our computer function.  Directions  Access the CPU Challenge worksheet off the round table.  Access the provided links and work with a partner to complete this electronic document.

 Refine your slide that covers details about the CPU within your Computer Parts’ presentation.  Resave your work for all your opened files.  Directions

 After doing this study on the CPU, vote on which part do you think is the most valuable part of the computer.  Vote on a part on the Edmodo.  Hit the reply button to explain the reason for you voting on this part.
