Attention Juniors and Seniors, if you are interested in learning more about which careers match your skills and interests, the ASVAB (Armed Services Aptitude Battery) will be given on Wednesday, January 27 th at 7:00am in the back cafeteria. There is no cost to take this test. Please see Mr. Eliason in the Guidance Office to sign up before January 25 th.

4. If you missed purchasing your SHS sweatshirt or sweatpants you are in luck. The junior Class is proud to announce that the will be selling the sweats ALL this week!! Prices very from $18.00 to $25.00, be sure to get yours !!

5. ATTENTION SENIORS Grad fees are now being collected through January 29 at the senior window during both lunches. Grad fees are $80. Fees paid AFTER Jan 29 are subject to late fees. Please do not interrupt classes to pay fees.

6. Baseball tryouts will be held MONDAY January 18 th at 3 pm. PLEASE be at the field by 2:45 to begin stretching. ALL players MUST have there participation packet turned in, in order to tryout !!!

7. Do you have great pictures from Halloween or Thanksgiving break? Yearbook staff needs pictures so bring them into room d-5 by TOMORROW to see your pictures in the yearbook!

8. There will be a florida high school writers workshop Saturday, March 13 th from 10a.m – 4 pm at the poynter institue in st petersburg. Come see mr. heath in the media center for more information!!

9. This is a reminder for all those that intend to participate in track. We begin officially on Monday, January 25 th. You can NOT participate if your paperwork is not completed. Please get this responsibility taken care of so that you dont miss out on this wonderful sport !!

10. There will be a national honor society meeting on TOMORROW after school in the back cafe at 2pm. All hours and points are due by Friday,January 29 th.

11. Any current 10 th and 11 th grade student who would like to consider the Early College Program for the next school year, needs to attend the informational meeting. The meeting will be January 28 th from 7-9 pm at the conference center at the SPC Seminole Campus.

12. Please submit all FAME intellectual freedom student scholarship applications to Bonnie Kelley, Admin building by March 1 st, so that one can be submitted from the district by the deadline, thank youuuu !!!

13. C- SPAN 2010 Student Cam documentary video Competition, total amount of awards up to 50,000 $ with 12,000 $ for local entrants check your student home page for the link or see mr heath in the media center.
