3. Landforms10-23-09 1. The surface of the earth does not stay the same; it changes over a period of time. 2. These changes occur through the slow process of weathering and erosion. 3. Weathering and erosion are caused by wind, water, glaciers (ice), and the force of gravity.

4. Can We Find Signs of Weathering and Erosion?  Take a piece of drawing paper and fold it to make four blocks.  Take a walk around the SAS campus. We visited the front of the auditorium, behind the fence at the ball field and around the back steps of the gym.  Draw and color four pictures of weathering and erosion that you found.
