New York is a land with many natural wonders to explore. Niagara Falls, on the state’s northwestern border, is one of the world’s greatest waterfalls. In western New York, people who enjoy swimming, hiking, and exploring nearby gorges visit the Finger Lakes region. In the Adirondack Mountains of the north east, there are mountains that are more than 4,000 feet high to explore.
