11 Four Points in a Degree Production Era 1. Delta Cost Study comparative data can be very useful for “rebooting” state funding formulas state by state. 2. Delta Cost data shows how AASCU institutions are comparatively more efficient, affordable, & productive. 3. AASCU institutions in most states: (a) collect less in net tuition (per FTE among 4-year) (b) receive less in state approp. (per FTE among all publics) (c) We have comparatively less so we expend less per FTE (d) Yet we enroll the nation’s most expensive 4yr. students 4.
