2. “PRAYER UNFOLDED” 1.)Petition- to ask; “most common kind of prayer” John 16:24 (NLT) You haven't done this before. ASK, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. James 4:2 (NLT) You want what you don't have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous for what others have, and you can't possess it, so you fight and quarrel to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don't have what you want is that YOU DON'T ASK GOD FOR IT.

3. “PRAYER UNFOLDED” 2.)Confession- to admit our sins; “most difficult” James 5:16 (NLT) CONFESS your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results. 1 John 1:9 (NLT) But if we CONFESS our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.

4. “PRAYER UNFOLDED” 3.)Intercession- offered on behalf of others; “unselfish prayer” Numbers 12:14 (NLT) So Moses cried out to the LORD, "Heal her, O God, I beg you!" *Moses is asking God to heal Miriam’s Leprosy. 4.)Consecration- prayer of commitment & complete surrender to God and his will; “EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST DO THIS DAILY” Luke 22:42 (NLT) "Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will, not mine."

5. “PRAYER UNFOLDED” 5.)Agreement- when two or more people believe God for the same thing. James 5:16 (NLT) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
