4 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  The Dept. of Education compiles student and family information used to calculate the student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC)  File the FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.gov www.fafsa.gov  UNM’s priority filing date is March 1 st
