1. My Account With My Account you can change your password and unlock your account if you typed in a wrong password too many times. Go to https://myaccount.maastrichtuniversity.nl/ or google “my account maastricht”

2. This is what the My Account Homepage looks like. Click on Account Information.

3. Sign in with your UM account. If you have forgotten your password, click “Forgot your password?”

4. Please add an alternative email address if none is shown. You need one for the lost password function to work.

5. Type in the alternative email address and click “Send verification e-mail”. Go to your alternative e-mail inbox and click on the verification link.

6. Click on “Forgot Password”. As you can see, if you haven’t added an alternative e-mail address you have to contact the ICTS Servicedesk to have your password reset.
