Place value – tells you how much each digit stands for

5 Vocabulary Short Word Form – A number written in both words and numbers. Write the numbers between the commas and then write the name of the period those numbers represent. 3,698,123,789 3 trillion, 698 million, 123 thousand, 789

6 Vocabulary Expanded form – A way to write numbers that shows the place value of each digit. 100, , , = 123, 709
