RDN Enhancements 06.25.2014

Dear Customers, RDN is happy to announce our next release, scheduled to go into production on June 25, 2014. Below is a list of enhancements that we have added to RDN. Enhancement Password Reset Functionality: RDN has added a new check for user initiated password resets that uses security questions to verify their identity. Collector ID in MultiSearch: This new field has been added. We hope you are pleased with these new features and find them useful in your operations. June 25, 2014 Release Notes

Enhanced Password Reset Functionality [3] RDN has added a new security component to make Password Resetting more secure. RDN will now maintain the answers to three security questions. These questions will be used when a user requests a new password using the Lost Password link on the sign-on screen. After the first sign-on following the 2.29 release, the user will be asked to verify their email address and answer three security questions. The user must have an email address on their profile to be able to use the Lost Password (reset password) feature. The user may change the answers by clicking on Edit My Profile. Every 30 days each user will be prompted to verify this information. If your collectors do not have email addresses on their profiles, there will not be a need to answer the three security questions. Just click the Verify/Change button.

[4] The user will be asked to verify or enter the following information after the release and then every 30 days. Enhanced Password Reset Functionality

[5] When a user clicks on the Lost Password link, they will be asked to enter their password email address, their user name and their ID code. Enhanced Password Reset Functionality

[6] If the user name, email address and the ID code are found then the user will be presented with the first of their security questions. If a wrong answer is provided then the next question will be presented until a correct answer is given. Enhanced Password Reset Functionality Answer Security Question. Select “Email New Password”. Answer Security Question. Select “Email New Password”.

[7] If the user doesn’t answer one of the security questions correctly then the following error will be displayed. The user can then return to the sign-on screen, go to the Lost Password screen and reattempt the reset process. As soon as the user answers one of the security questions correctly, RDN will email the user a new temporary password. The Reset Password Email address will be used if it is present on the user’s profile. Otherwise, the user’s regular email address will be used. Enhanced Password Reset Functionality

[8] If a user has the Edit My Profile permission, they can edit their Password Reset Email address by clicking on Edit My Profile. Enhanced Password Reset Functionality Select “Edit My Profile”. You may edit the Password Reset Email address.

[9] To edit the answer to a Security Question, the user must have the Edit My Profile permission. Collector managers do not have access to these questions on the Manage Collectors screen. Enhanced Password Reset Functionality Select “Edit My Profile”. You may change the answer to the Security Questions by typing in a new answer. Leave blank to use previously saved answer.

[10] Some lenders have users with multiple RDN ID’s and have a need to Move all orders to be under one ID using the MultiSearch Bulk Reassign Collector feature. This wasn’t always possible because managers were Unable to distinguish between collectors by name only. To help with this, the collector’s ID has been added next to the collector’s name on the select drop down for the Assignee on the MultiSearch search screen. Display Collector’s ID in MultiSearch

[11] On the MultiSearch’s Configure Results, you can now add the collector’s ID to the results. This is a sortable column. Display Collector’s ID in MultiSearch

[12] On the Bulk Reassign Collector action, you will see the collector’s ID. Display Collector’s ID in MultiSearch
