2 Vision and Aims Chalmers AoAs should use our scientific excellences to meet the global grand challenges where we can make a difference The AoAs aims to coordinate establishment of excellent cross-disciplinary research. The AoAs contribute to meet societal requirements to integrate research, education and innovation and to establish new arenas between academia, industry and society. Hereby the AoAs contribute actively to reaching Chalmers overall objective to address global challenges in order to establish a sustainable society The AoAs should together with the departments develop: Excellent research environments Integration of research, education and innovation Research infrastructures Strategic collaboration with industry Chalmers brand
