Gifts of the Spirit  1 Corinthians 12:1-11 ●Special abilities the Spirit gives us ●2 Corinthians 4:7 We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. 16 Interaction Time  What causes people to be afraid of gifts of the Holy Spirit? What can help overcome those fears?  How about a clinic? 17  First Thessalonians 5:19-21 says "Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;” How do we quench the Holy Spirit? If something is of the Spirit why are we told to examine everything carefully? If you hold fast to that which is good what do you do with the rest? How do you know what is good and what is not?
