It is the CERN technical pilot’s responbibility to specify how to arrange exchange documents in the CAD exchange folder. CERN Methodology document EDMS : Create a CAD Exchange document 11Methodology # M0002 / EDMS Doc N° 1310948 STEP 1 (folder lifecycle menu) New document to be created in this folder REQUIREMENT In order to improve history and traceability of CAD data transferred, it is required to create one single EDMS export document and one single EDMS import document per « CAD Exchange job ». The « CAD Exchange job » is defined in a technical specification issued by CERN technical pilot. If the content of a « CAD Exchange job » needs to be updated, new versions of EDMS export and import documents must be created (no new EDMS documents). This list is accessible in the « Access Rights » menu.
