What is equivalent fractions? Fractions that are equal in value but may have different denominators or numerators.
Formula/ Drawing 2/3 and 14/21 are equivalent fractions. This is because 2/3 x 7= 14/21 so they are equivalent.
Describe a strategy that can be used to find out an equivalent fraction for 16/20.
16/20 x 2= 30/40 16/20 are equivalent because if you simplify the equal thee same thing. 16/20 divided by 4=4/5 32/40 divided by 2=16/20 Divided by 2 more= 4/5
